March4TB Crosses the Finish Line

At the beginning of March, Ending Workplace TB announced the launch of March4TB– a month-long step challenge to raise awareness of TB in the month around World TB Day (24th March). Individuals and their organisations signed-up to take as many steps, or wheel turns, as they could during the month of March, with a dedicated “challenge” for World TB Day itself.


The step challenge hosted over 2,500 participants from fifteen companies around the world. Throughout the month, participants learned more about TB, shared their successes and challenges on an internal messaging platform, and overall worked hard to raise awareness about TB in their communities. Collectively, we walked over 367 million steps, with Filha, Sequella, and Otsuka, pulling in first with the highest company averages overall, and Otsuka winning the dedicated individual and team competitions for World TB Day itself.


This challenge was work of many partners and we’d like to thank all participating and supporting organisations, including Accenture, Avega, Aventus Medical, Carespan, Cepheid, Filha, Fullerton Health, GBCHealth Global Fund, ICON, Intellicare, LabCorp, Otsuka, Pacer, Qiagen, and Sequella.
